Spring Up
Requirements include proper selection, positioning and secure attachment of all springs, clips, webbing, cardboard sheeting and covers to wooden furniture frames.
Responsibilities
Safely operate air operated fastening tools
Follow quality and safety standards as required by Company
Wear PPE (safety glasses and hearing protection) at all times
Quality Inspector
Ability to follow specifications, quality and safety standards. Attention to details.
Furniture Design CAD Operator
Furniture Design CAD Operator with Upholstered Furniture experience. Ability to create 3D Frame Assemblies and provide models in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Tasks will involve creating 3D frame assemblies from raw frames or from drawings / upholstery sketches. Experience in upholstered furniture industry; SolidWorks or AutoCAD
Understand upholstery manufacturing processes
Able to multitask and react quickly to business needs
Frame Assembly / Spring Up Supervisor
Job Duties: Supervise assembly personnel and springup operators, train new hires, monitor safety, maintain production quotas, ensure quality processes.
Skills Needed
Knowledge and experience of frame assembly (hardwood & plywood) and / or spring up operation
Team leadership
Time management
Good communication skills
Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for managing the quality assurance systems and
implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous production that is consistent with established
product standards, customer specifications and production quality goals. The person is responsible
for supervising the quality assurance auditors.
Essential Functions
Supervise the quality assurance team members that are engaged in product inspection and audit
activity to ensure a high level of productivity and technical integrity.
Provide a technical and statistical expertise to the quality assurance team.
Coordinate quality objectives with production procedures in an effort to maximize product
reliability and to minimize the cost of quality.
Ensure the quality assurance systems, audit processes and personnel training is in
place and maintained at all times. Maintain an active role in the continuous improvement teams.
Perform internal audits of materials, finished products, quality assurance processes and packaging.
Follow up on preventive actions, non-conformance issues and corrective action request.
